Mike is an experienced arts facilitator and performer with over twenty years’ experience in music and the performing arts, creating and delivering engaging arts programmes and live entertainment for communities, councils, and organisations.
He has worked with North Down Borough Council and Belfast City Council, providing entertainment and creative programming for a range of public events including Christmas celebrations, St. Patrick’s Day events, themed family shows, and activities designed for children and vulnerable adults.
Mike specialises in developing original concepts for events, including writing scripts, themed performances, and original songs tailored to specific occasions or requests. Events can be designed around particular themes, celebrations, or community initiatives, ensuring each programme is unique and engaging for its audience.
He also co-directs Sparkle and Star Music with Jody Brown, a vibrant children’s entertainment show featuring live music, instruments, songs, movement, dance, and Makaton, creating inclusive and interactive experiences for young audiences.
Mike can deliver the entertainment himself or supply a variety of professional acts, depending on the scale and style of the event. With extensive experience in performance, education, and event creation, he brings creativity, professionalism, and energy to every project.
